Nicole Goodwin FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in December 2019 in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in nursing from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in 2012. Nicole worked as an Emergency Department RN in Phoenix, Arizona and then as a travel nurse in Maryland, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and California serving suburban, urban, rural, and critical access communities. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has been working in rehabilitation medicine and primary care at a skilled nursing facility where she has gained experience in post-operative management and geriatric medicine.
Seeing the overuse of emergency departments all over the country has ignited a passion for Nicole to encourage and educate patients about holistic care and preventative medicine. She looks forward to forming meaningful relationships with her patients and allowing them a safe space to express their concerns and ask questions.
In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking, photography, and painting. Her primary passion is traveling the world and having adventures in new places. She is excited to be back in Flagstaff after her time away and join the Apricus team at Flagstaff Family Care. |
